Recess Monkey has received yet another irate email.

A source close to the Prime Minister said, “We absolutely deny that it was a Labour staffer who refused to walk, it was definitely a Liberal. We appreciate their concern to set the record straight and why let the facts get in the way of a good Liberal line eh!”

“Yes, there were tactical substitutions in the football - we never said there weren’t. But we still won! As the Liberals have to admit!”

“We would also like to point out the universal disappointment at them not turning up with a graph to show how only they could possibly beat the Tories win and that Labour should therefore not bother. We expect better next time!!!”

I believe a grudge match is in order.

  1. just to add a bit of spice… Apparently when the lib-dems footie team played the HC Library team there were two hotly contested decisions which led to the LD team winning 1-0. First off a clear and blatant penalty was denied and second the LD goal came as a ball from a neighboring pitch bounced onto the field. Library team stopped to return the ball, whilst LD players carried on an scored virtually unimpeded…they’ve got form i tell you…

  2. Nice one fella.

what was the score - oh, yeah . . . . 1-0 to us - you lost mate, like your mum.
