Andrew Dismore MP is rumoured to be furious after someone carved the word “Celtic” into the bonnet of his car. One presumes he is a Rangers fan. This seems to have taken the shine off his appointment as Chair of the Joint Human Rights Committee – an appointment that has greatly amused staffers in Westminster. There is a body of staff that has unofficially blacklisted Dismore as a potential employer because of his reputation for aggression, bad language and quick temper. However, most agree that if there’s one MP with need of a crash course in human rights, it is he.

Andrew Dismore once pushed in front of me in rhe Lords Bar on a very packed Friday afternoon fresh from killing a Julian Brazier’s Volunteers Private Members Bill - Dismore had the audacity to make out it was me who was pushing in front of him as well!

Knowing Andrew Dismore for more than 5 years he is the best MP a constituent could ever have. so i urge people not to believe the rumours about Andrew as it is all untrue. i seriously feel very angry about this unfounded rumours which is insulting a decent gentleman. thats it!

Yeah, but my story was true! Do decent men kill Private Members Bills? Its hardly the most pleasant way of Parliamentary procedure.

I have just read about dismore’s antics in the desruction of the bill to give those of us whom are not inclined to burgle other peoples houses greater rights to protect ourselves against those seek to steal from us,and threaten our wellbeing.How utterly sickening this man appears to me-but then again what can you expect from a solicitor.I wonder if he will be in favour of the fifteen percent pay rise that mp’s are after ?? I hope his constituents are made aware of his actions on this bill and the attitude towards them that this implies
