The Red Lion has evidently become the place for Tory leadership contenders to be seen. Last Friday, Dr Liam Fox and Annersley Abercorn were seen in there deep in discussion. You’d think Liam Fox, being a GP, would be pretty health conscious. But apparently not, as he was spotted not only downing several pints, but also getting through the best part of a packet of cigarettes during the course of the evening.
Though it seems that Dr Fox’s links to the tobacco industry are less newsworthy than Ken Clarke’s.
Incidentally, does any one know what is Eleanor Laing’s position on Liam Fox’s election?

The definition of an alcoholic has always been someone who drinks more than their GP. Why is it they’re the least healthy people you ever meet?
