Yes. Today is the first day in months that the Independent has put news on its front page. I almost picked it up thinking it was the Times.
This event is significantly more newsworthy than the “Model takes cocaine” story that has dominated the papers over the last week. It is so unfair for the papers to get at Kate Moss. If there were a bombing at a journalist’s convention that wiped out all the newspaper hacks, the cocaine industry in this country would be decimated.
No doubt The tabloids will be running exposés on bears shitting in woods and Popes being former fascists.
