There are those who know of a staffer who while bladdered, bumped into television and music megastar David “The Hoff” Hasslehoff in Covent Garden and told him how great he was in slurred appreciation.
The staffer may be pleased to hear of the following notice on www.w4mp.org
“ORIGINAL SIGNED PHOTO: of David Hasselhoff (The Hoff). Would make wonderful gift for fan. £20 ono. New object of affections forces reluctant sale.
(contact lawrencev@parliament.uk)”
20 quid’s a bit steep though!

Delighted you gave my blog a name check for uncovering this fact.

£20 is very cheap if you’ve ever met any real fans of the Hoff.
I confidently predict some ex-work-colleagues of mine at the Teacher Training Agency (now TDA - another great/pointless name change) will start a bidding war over it.

£20 is not at all steep. I know for a fact that this item was not cheap to ship over all the way from Germany.

Is that you Vikki Lawrence (Token Tory)? Stop trying to talk up the price!!!
Seriously guys, check out the Hoff video at:

£20 for his signed photo is a bargain!

No but my admiration for the Hoff is as great as the dear lady Lawrence’s.
Glad to see the love is spreading.

What you neglected to add, Monkey, is that said staffer called the great man ‘Mitch’ throughout the entire conversation as he couldn’t remember his name.
Ah, great days…
