Dr Liam Fox, who is so far boasting nine supporters in his campaign to become Tory Leader, is rumoured to be short of cash. Evidently, campaign manager Anna Hartropp, who last cxame to public attention during the “Betsygate” affair, has vetoed the purchase of a cake for £50 for an event in order to use the money more effectively in the campaign. Of course, unless she’s going to give 50 Tory MPs a pound each to buy their support, Liam’s not going to get very far.
