Radio 5 Live this morning…
Serial rebel Jeremy Corbyn was discussing Parliamentary rebels and loyalists. He claimed that it was unfair to brand him a serial rebel (despite being the most rebellious MP in the House), as there are apparently there are only 3 issues he’ll ever rebel on:
1. Issues of war and peace
2. Issues of civil liberties
3. Issues of social and economic policy
When the interviewer suggested to him that covers everything the Government does, his reply, with a laugh, was, “yeah, I suppose it does really”.

The House Magazine did a list of the top 20 or 30 Labour rebels ever. I think Dennis Skinner came out on top by a country mile.
And he’s probably been on the Labour NEC for most of those rebellions too!

Of course the biggest rebel is Robert Marshall-Andrews: http://www.publicwhip.org.uk/mps.php?sort=rebellions
