How much do you pay for DeHavilland?

Some of my best friends are Tories

Newbie Windsor MP Adam Afriye is pictured here with the entire ethnic minority membership of the Conservative Party. Afriye recently sold his Parliamentary Monitoring Service, DeHavilland, to EMAP plc for £5m and change.

Regular readers may be aware that close associate Alex Hilton stood for Parliament in May in Canterbury. DeHavilland’s entry reads: “A councillor in Redbridge before entering Parliament, Alex Hilton worked as researcher for Linda Perham and a journalist on Tribune. In winning Canterbury in 2005 he unseated Conservative frontbencher Julian Brazier, completing the steady erosion of the latter’s majority over the past four general elections”.

This well-researched piece is wholly correct other than the 7,000 majority that Julian Brazier enjoys as the re-elected Conservative member for Canterbury.

That’s £5m well spent then EMAP.

Should any DeHavilland subscribers happen to be Recess Monkey readers, please do get in touch for the purposes of mischief-making.

In the meantime, Alex requests that someone picks up his post as he no longer has a security pass.

  1. Its a fantasy website!

  2. Alex strenuously denies allegations that he spent a short period as a temp at DeHavilland after the election.

He also categorically stated that he has never taken cocaine - as an MP.
