Opus Dave

Now that leadership election’s over, we now enter the run-up to the next biennial Tory Leadership Election. Man of the moment David Cameron has a short period in which to consolidate his position before the wild-eyed-felt-hatted loons of the Cornerstone Group, aka the Tory Taliban, start sharpening their knives so they can get Andrew Rosindell installed as leader before the next General Election.

But Cameron has friends at his side: a dark, shadowy cult known as Opus Dave. Here are the names of the most prominent members of this cult, and I hope you will appreciate the personal risks I am taking in bringing this information to you.

Rachel Whetstone
Steve Hilton
George Osborne
Ed Vaizey
Michael Gove
Boris Johnson
Alan Duncan
Francis Maude
Michael Howard
William Hague
Michael Portillo
Daniel Finkelstein
