Opus Dave: The Freemasons

While conducting deep investigative research (googling) into Opus Dave, I came across this strange reference in google cache.

allanparkinson69 has posted the following text on some sort of masons’ chat board saying, “I’d like to congratulate my local Masonic lodge member, David Cameron MP for Witney, on his promotion to Deputy Speaker for the Conservative Party. As an extremely young MP (thirties) I expect him to be party leader by the end of his political career…”

Posted on 4th June, this message predates leadership election character assassinations, though also has a ring of american about it too, so I can’t decide whether or not I think it’s authentic.

I would be grateful if readers, when encountering Cameron, could aggressively rub his third knuckle when shaking hands and say something cryptic, like “Swans will fly over the temple of vesta”, while waggling eyebrows meaningfully - and report to me the response. Failing that, just bare your left breast and see what happens.

Any further info you have on Freemason links to Opus Dave is welcome.

  1. OK then, I’ll roll my left trouser leg up, and ask my Dad what he knows.

(FYI Mrs C’s Dad lives just down the road from my aged P’s, in a house where I spent a good deal of my youth. So there.)

  2. “Deputy Speaker for the Conservative Party.”

    What’s that? Tin-hat alert…

  3. You do know that politicians who are Freemasons are meant to register such membership as an interest?

Well local councillors do, so I presume it is the same for MPs.

Remember Freemasons are truly dodgy characters - it is the occult after all - so be very careful if you choose to go down that route investigating them.

(And be prepared to kiss some serious sheep skull for penance.)

  4. what you talking about you lot?!?! its not like cameron is a scottish name, and scotland is the birthplace of all things masonic.

    dan brown for shadow chancellor

  5. Mason Dave? The Recess Monkey asks an interesting question - is the new leader of the Conservative Party a mason? The poster of the original email allanparkinson69 only seems to have made a few posts all on a freemasonry website, and all

Wait a minute! This is clearly cut and pasted!

  7. Only a Mason could be that confident in predicting the future of ‘The Sainted Biscuit’.

  8. If Recess Monkey ends up hanging under Blackfriars Bridge then it will only be his own damn fault! His only hope of (post) prosecution will be that this kind of activity has also now to be declared in the Register of Members’ Interests

  9. I think Retard Donkey already hangs around under Blackfriars Bridge. He can often be seen pimping his “ho’s” and dealing the crack.

Of course, this information is as reliable as the stories on this site…

  10. Is David Cameron a Freemason? And, if so, what effect would that have on his governance, if he’s indirectly elected PM? UK political blog Recess Monkey wrote this on 12th December:While conducting deep investigative research (googling) into Opus Dave, I came across
