Not being one to miss a trick, the London Assembly will tonight host a People’s Question Time,
for local Pearly Kings and Queens to “voice concerns and ask the Mayor and London Assembly Members what they are doing for the capital and its people”.
The sharper knives amongst you will have noticed a flaw in this plan, given that the Mayor is currently on gardening leave and the only question he’ll be answering for a while is “what time is Ready, Steady, Cook on?”. Thankfully the GLA website informs us that “For those unable to attend, this meeting will webcast live”.
I’d give tonight a miss, Ken. It’s a bit parky outside and there’s double CSI on Channel Five.
