Recess Monkey has been dilligently researching the Tory A List to find the kind of information that the Tory Press Ofiice may overlook.
I was amused to note that in October 2004, Zac Goldsmith made a hefty £5,000 donation to the South West Green Party.
Less impressed, no doubt, is South West Conservative candidate at the General Election, Neil Carmichael, who failed to take Stroud at the 2005 General Election by 350 votes. The Greens polled 3056 votes, one of their best results in the country and swallowing up Carmichael’s chances.
Neil Carmichael is not on the Tory A List.

Maybe Zac will stand in Bromley and Chislehurst?

Have you ever been to Stroud, ‘a fair trade’ town? I don’t thing it was the Tories who the Greens stole their votes from….

And I don’t think either

Good bit of research there Monkey!
Also, it’s irrelevant whether the Greens stole from the Tories or not. His money helped them (im sure) achieve their 3056 votes..

If he’d given them a bit more cash maybe they’d've taken another 351 votes from nice Mr Drew and then Mr Carmichael would have had MP after his name. Is Zac brighter than he seems?
PS sorry about my ‘from who’ faux pas in addition to my typo

Dear little Mr Goldsmith was spotted by moi, a crappy lil geography student, at Lords on Monday quite clearly enjoying the hospitality boxes. Obviously very busy on the “big” policy review on the environment for the tossers
