Caption Competition

It has been revealed that Lib Dem leader Menzies Campbell has had a “free and frank” discussion with party president Simon Hughes over alleged criticism of Campbell’s leadership performance. 4. Maybe the little girl is saying: “Hi Simon do you remember me? I delivered leaflets for you at the last election. I was young and needed the sweets.”

  5. Simon’s weekly game of “Oooh! how did that get up there?” was progressing in front of another youthful audience

  6. “Goodness! An experienced candidate who actually believed me when I promised him my vote! With that level of naivity, it won’t be long before Nick Clegg’s supporters goad Hughes into challenging Campbell for the leadership. Perhaps nice Nick will even become Leader before the year’s out?”

  7. It was the first time he heard Ming the Merciless.

  8. Mothers would clench their fists and attempt to hide their children when “Uncle” Simon emerged on the street.
