So Alan Johnson has joined the club of people who have announced they want Prezza’s job (he must have read the poll).
So here and now I’m starting my campaign to be the next deputy prime minister.
I’m sure we can get around the fact that I’m not an MP. Any one who could help on that would be most appreciated (If you help Guido will give you one of his t-shirts).
Notwithstanding Johnson’s imminent announcement, undeclared candidate Clare Short is still winning the Recess Monkey Deputy Leadership Poll - and leading a similar poll on the website of Iain Dale!

I think he’d be a good Deputy - he is a handsome chap, quite likeable and he knows how to party. I think another Hull based MP will he a winner for the party.
