Bob 0 - Fifa 1

Bob Neill

A smart cookie in Bromley Tory Party had a great idea to promote their candidate Bob Neill with the leaflet below to prove that Bob’s “in touch” with the common man.

Unfortunately they were soon also in touch with the lawyers at Fifa, who own the copyright on the image of the world cup and swiftly ordered its removal, leading to the re-design below and some very red faces among the Tory toffs of Bromley. The lack of a Tory Party logo on the leaflet has also been noted (Unless the world cup is the new Tory logo?).

In the meantime, the Strangers Bar is believed to be increasing its booze order in anticipation of Bob winning the safe Tory seat and becoming a regular.

  1. I can smell the sour grapes from here, you know becoming bitter and twisted is really rather unattractive in a Monkey, normally such happy go lucky beasts. Also it has to be said that you guys attacking someone else for drinking a lot of alcohol is one of those hypocritical pot, kettle, calling it black moments that we have all come to know and love from the Labour Party in general.

  2. A lack of a Tory logo?

Now where did the Tories play that card before?

  3. If the Tories had their way, there would be 2 balls on the pitch in the same way there are 2 on their redesigned posters.

Talk about filling space for the sake of it.

  4. FIFA also control the rights t several phrases including Germany 2006, World Cup, WC06 amongst others and have been actively seeking redress from people for faining to comply with their guidelines. FIFA’s guidelines
