If this really is a pro-opposition publication then I don’t fancy the chances of anyone who does the job - biffed on the head and left to rot in jail is likely to be their fate. I went to the Maldives on honeymoon in 1999 and island paradise it certainly is, but even now, when its government is still looking for post-tsunami support internationally, they are quite sanguine about the many political prisoners they have, and about savage repression of any opposition demonstrations. When opposition MPs got elected they were arrested and imprisoned.

I remember this job was advertisd back in March. Looks like janestheone is right and the last freshed faced youth that got this gig is currently sharing a suite at the “Male Hilton” along with 100 other inmates who, I wager, are an affable and disease free bunch of chaps. Still its better than that chap who went to North Korea & got thrown in jail for a fortnight for asking why the Dear Leader is so fat and everybody else is so thin.
