Sir David Frost. A National Treasure, whose loss from the BBC will be almost as great as losing Pauline Fowler from Eastenders.
Recess Monkey recently bumped into a former BBC aide to Sir David.
He said;
“David was great to work with but a little eccentric at times. Where most presenters washed their makeup off after a shoot, he’d keep wearing it all day long.”
He added;
“If it was cold, David would have a tendency to fall asleep during filming. We had to keep a blanket in the studio to put over his knees if he started to nod off”
I’m sure he won’t get that degree of care and attention now he’s gone off to Al Jazeera.
