Islington LibDems implode

suzblog

Susanne Lamido, member of the London Region executive of the LibDems has launched a bowel-clenching attack on former Leader of the Council Steve Hitchins.

He thought he was invincible. Somebody said you shouldn’t put the boot in when a man’s down but I’ve really had to laugh. Have been told several times, the women got the ulimate revenge. At a social gathering of past and present councillors the women who lost their seats went for him no holds barred. True to form he tried to walk a way and leave the venue. One ex-councillor Dorrie really lost her rag and disgraced him down to the ground. He started to cry in the street.

  1. Curious. The solution to bullying is to bully some more, apparently.

  2. Yeah right ’social gathering’ ie pissups are best place for considered analysis. So some women got drunk, abused the guy - and he walekd away. What a bully!

  3. The Lib Dem blogs I’ve looked at seem to be pretty silent on this. Has any body seen any reaction on Lib Dem blogs on this?

  4. Not surprised they’re silent. Lamido is generally ignored as one of those nutters that all voluntary groups or political parties attract from time to time. No one takes her seriously (but it is about time she was booted off the various sinecures she holds - by virtue of no one else wanting to do them)

  5. I’d second that: Susanne Lamido is worse than a waste of space and I wouldn’t believe a word she says or writes. Most people who know her have eventually come to that conclusion.

  6. Ugh, Lamido makes me want to spew. Can you get that horrid mug off your otherwise visually pleasing blog.

  7. Not surprised at the comments. There’s been worse on my blog
Sounds like the rantings of several of Islingtons young political greasy pole climbers.

  8. I’m not sure if that is the case Susanne… and if he was so bad - how come you stood to be a council candidate in Islington so many times under his leadership, but failed to get selected? This is a real misrepresentation of that evening… And Islington Lib Dems have far from imploded!! Susanne is not in touch with what goes on here. And is asking a sacked employee their opinion of a company the way to get the best representation… I don’t think so!! Are sacked employees going to have the best view of their ex boss?
