Doins in the Palace environs

David Drew (Lab, Stroud) may not be a Tory harbouring fears of brown people taking over but his question to the DfES on teenage pregnancy and abortions within the Black and ethnic minority population is a bit worrying. Beverley Hughes informed him that the Government does not have targets to reduce conceptions among different ethnic groups (we leave that sort of thing to Sudan). Parliamentary Question 89502 today - though not yet in the internet.

Also not yet on the internet is an EDM talking about palace accommodation ogre Judy Scott Thomson and hoping to see her many more times in her usual role in state opening rehearsals, or something like that. I wouldn’t lose money on betting she plays the queen.

Finally, where are the good Burghers of Calais? The plinth on Victoria Gardens is empty and there is no explanation of where they’ve gone. I wonder if somebody ’sold’ them to a tourist.

  1. Burghers of Calais are residing at: http://www.royalacademy.org.uk/exhibitions/rodin/the-monuments,19,AR.html

  2. They are in the Royal Academy at the Rodin exhibition, as you’d know if you had any culture and didn’t just sit around scratching your balls and waiting for Guido to start playing with his organ…

  3. “a Tory harbouring fears of brown people”…how about the droves of labour ministers queuing up to associate themselves with Jack Straw’s stupid comments??????
