Should Simon Hughes have to pass his driving test again?
Many thanks to Fourth Term for this piece of frippery.

This is the same Big Yellow Taxi that was regularly to be seen parked in the Star Chamber Court Yard, which is reserved especially for disabled parking. It would be well worth asking what form of disability Simon Hughes has. (Other than a lack of brain) Other guilty offenders are Kate Hoey with her Mini Cooper, and Nicholas Soames with his blue Volvo V 70.
It’s really irritating to find these vehicles regularly parked without regard to the legitimate disabled and accredited parking Pass holders when they cant get parked, (They all have been regularly reprimanded by the HOC parking attendants) and have to use the very disabled unfriendly underground car park… It would be very nice if Joni Mitchell’s Big Yellow Taxi came and took all of these tossers away.

I’ve just come back to look at the Fourth terms picture, and I think this may well be a photo of of the central eastern side of the Star Chamber courtyard with the Post Office van turntable to the right just out of frame…. if someone can check this one out and let Recess Monkey knowe, the arrogant bastard will be bang to rights.

I also reckon that the car far right (mostly out of shot in bay 13) may well be the aforementioned Blue Volvo V70…

It’s Norman Shaw. And which sad bugger was taking pictures out of his window on a Saturday?

Hummm… You may be right. although it’s always difficult to tell due to the repetitive architectural style of the estate. Even so Simon Hughes, Kate Hoey, and Nic Somes have parked in the disabled parking area regularly. I have seen it many times myself.
Maybe fourth term will let us know.

Nope, it’s definitely Norman Shaw - the parking bays have been repainted bright yellow & blue in Star Chamber.
Christ alive I’m such an anorak.

It looks similar to a vehicle that pop mogul Jonathon King used to drive around London. Plenty of room in the back.

More anorakness for you, that is a Volvo XC50 on the right of the picture not a V70 so probably someone else other than Soames.
