Tory spinmeisters are worried the Islington MP Emily Thornberry is going to beat the boy “Dave” to the epolitix Charity Champion Award for “Environment Champion”.
It seems there is some doubt amongst some commenters at to whom they should support.
Let me remind readers who supported tighter controls on companies that damage the environment in the debate on the Companies Bill and who leads a party that tabled amendments to the Companies Bill to water down the requirement for directors to consider factors such as community and the environment when talking decisions.
