…but is all this not just a tad tedious.
Cf the BBC recently.
‘Good morning and with us today we have Environment Minister Ben Bradshaw who cycled here. Didn’t you Ben?’
And Ghandi letting it be known that he turned up at the Sky studios for his recent interview by train to minimise his carbon footprint, and of course the India tour will be offset.
And Miliband letting it be known that he’s turned up at the BBC in a Prius.
Etc etc etc ad nauseam.
Until these blessed things are actually outlawed - planes, automobiles - politicians trying to prove they are greener than thou is a pretty unedifying sight.
