This may not be very important to you, but it is to me. I wondered what that tapping noise was, and I’ve just looked up to see water dripping in to my light fitting from the roof. I’d better turn the light off come to think of it.
Time to phone the Serjeant-At-Arms. Portcullis House is less than 7 years old by the way.
Not the usual kind of leaks one expects to be discussing in Westminster…
Edit: It’s speeding up, and now dripping on to my laptop and printer (or where they used to be). Fuck. And today had started so well…
Edit2: It is of only scant consolation to know that the next door office has also had a bit of water drip from their ceiling.

Yes, one of PcH’s heratige features… is your hot wall working? We could never turn it off and spent hours trying to clear carpet fluff out of the floor level air conditioning vents…

Think yourself lucky that sure not over in the other side of the building… With the variable heating system (usually off) and the draughty windows which also leak. In offices so small and overcrowded you’d think there an immigration centre. You lot in Portcullis House.. Phaa.. don’t know you’re born.
