Conservative Future (UK) Chairman Mark Clarke, has been selected to stand for the Tooting constituency. Labour’s Sadiq Khan is not believed to be losing any sleep over this turn of events.
Recess Monkey was texted and called by six readers who fraudulently crashed the open selection in order to vote for Clarke - one of whom asked me to attribute a source formerly close to the prime minister as my mole.

Fraudulently - as in they didn’t live in the constituency? This negative attitude towards democracy is similar to the counter-attacks launched against the most popular Downing Street petitions. In other words, a typical Labour trait.

I too went to school with Mark “I never lie - ever” Ogden / Clarke and I would like to add that he was a thundering backside of low intellectual calibre and it is no suprise to me to read the abuse he seems to be receiving on these pages, I am only suprised that the Tories seem to be scraping the barrel when it comes to choosing their PPCs
