John McDonnell, knowing how influential Recess Monkey is, has been seeking to groom me through facebook.

I have taken the opportunity to suggest a course of action he should take if he wants to be my friend. There is outstanding business here.

    I was adding the friends for John’s facebook group. Facebook did a scan of people who had emailed in previously, hence you received an automatic email. Don’t worry, there was no intention to add you.
    Next time I’ll do a more thorough check to weed out irritating hacks/non-entities.

    Sigh, you are tedious. Yes, it is his profile, yes I did a scan for email addresses of supporters.
    I know that you’re jealous that Hilary Benn has way under half the number of supporters on his facebook group that John has, but you’re going to have to learn to deal with it.

    and no, I’m not one iota embarrassed about Hilary. And I think it would be excessive to describe him as my “mate”. He’s my preferred deputy leadership candidate.

  9. Wow, McDonnell’s staffer is obnoxious. I’ll bear that in mind when I cast my vote (company a man keeps and all that). Is it true that Meacher already has far more support in the days since he announced his candidature than McDonnell has?
