That’s it. There is definitely a conspiracy.
The police have handed over the file on cash for honours on the same day that Guido is out getting wasted with his internet date charity winner.
There are bound to be suggestions from one side that the police were persuaded to wait till a Friday afternoon in the hope of minimising the media coverage, and from the other than they were encouraged to get it out before the local elections to damage Labour’s chances. Conspiracies abound!

RM, The reason there are so many conspiracy theories is that New Labour have made the truth and fiction almost indistinguishable. I am sure I’m not alone in questioning anything and everything that is said. Its New Labour’s legacy, and we are a poorer nation for it

Recess I for one am glad that you are able to see both sides of this one. However Maggie Thatcher Fan is right to say that it is New Labour’s own fault that no-one trusts them anymore and so many people see conspiracy about everything that they do. Of course if there were any justice in all this then Mersey Tunnel Gob would be getting her visiting orders lined up now.
