Next week may be the last PMQs, but there’s another sad moment today - the last ever DPM Questions with John Prescott (assuming he’s up to it!)
Hard to love but also hard to loathe, he’s undeniably provided some of the most entertaining moments in politics in the last 10 years. It may not have been remotely dignified, but the egg-fight in Wales was hilarious.
Some of the best Prescott moments on Recess Monkey can be found here,
here and here. He’ll be a tough act to follow.

It’s so sad when high profile people leave office as it may take some time for others to emerge and carry on their torch. Why am I left thinking that their replacements will let the torch go out?
Sad times ahead - or at least in the short term!

Right, let’s see; an ignorant, violent, misogynistic, grasping, lazy, totally self serving cunt and you think that he’s hard to loathe. I beg to differ.

Ah Matt - how good to see that erudite, profound, witty and incisive political commentary hasn’t yet died out…
