Comrades in Milton Keynes are claiming the first electoral success of the Brown era.
In a Council by-election held yesterday for the Whaddon Ward, Labour candidate Camilla Turnbull won with a 200 majority over her Tory opponent - a better result than activists had dared hope for apparently.
Take heart, Gordon is officially a winner.

Labour also gained a ward from the tories in Nuneaton & Bedworth DC yesterday. The tories were pushed in third place by BNP and the LDs were pushed in last place by English Democrats
