Readers may be aware that Recess Monkey likes to pay attention to the up-and-coming young conservatives as they clamber up their particular greasy pole.
In particular, I have noted with interest the rise of one Rachel Joyce, the newly selected Tory candidate for Harrow West, and have been reading her blog regularly.
I was a little bit confused recently when it seemed a number of references to her support for Israel’s actions in Palestine suddenly disappeared from her blog. Google kindly makes reference to her site 60 times if you search her site for the word “Israel”, though strangely, they’re not there anymore.
On what I am sure is an entirely unrelated note, the Harrow West census suggests the constituency’s population includes 3,601 Jews and 6,927 Muslims. Perhaps that’s 3,326 reasons to edit one’s website?

The 60 references google gets is because ‘israel’ is one of the index headings on the column on the right-hand side of the page - it appears in all her pages and blog entries. There is one story actually about Israel up there, but it is very boring.
