The Dods Online profile for our old mate John Prescott says that he is Leader of the UK Delegation Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
Given that the election to the post of Delegation Leader isn’t happening till Monday, what do they know that we don’t?
In Business Questions just now Harriet Harman was asked by a Tory backbencher to ensure that all members of the Council of Europe delegation would be allowed to vote for the new leader. She replied “I’m sure that will be the case.” Whoops! Only Labour MPs are enfranchised on this one.
