The BBC is reporting that the protesters on Parliament Square have been removed. If so, there will be rejoicing in the offices facing square, especially those in 1 Parliament Street, who are bored to tears with the incessant and repetitive whining from people with megaphones every afternoon.
I imagine Brian Haw will survive though. He’s such a fixture that he registered www.parliament-square.org.uk for his campaign.
Update: Brian Haw remains, everyone else evicted.

I am sure by now Brian Haw must be considered a tourist attraction.

Isn’t that the excuse for keeping the queen?

errrm, how unfortunate for those in Parliament Square who have had to put up with protests from the electorate. How could they? Don’t they realise they should be greatful for the disdain you apparently hold them in?

Surely you would not want the Lords woken up or MPs put off of thier stroke. I suppose if all else fails they could bring out the Vulcan to talk to them about his policy ideas.

If Westminster launches a war in obedience to Tony and Gordon, then thos same people can surely put up with a bit of noise.
Are you all wimps?
