The much-hyped referendum campaign is taking me back to the glory days of the 90s - although websites were not as swish and multimedia as they are these days.
The referendum bods’ site, which I believe is backed by luminaries as luminescent as Keith Vaz and Norman Tebbit, is publishing the names of backers as they sign up.
A quick glance at the site shows this dynamo of campaign activity has attracted the support of Barack Obama and Lord Lucan. I’m pretty sure the fuzz will be seeking to inspect the IP address on that one, now that the absent peer has finally put a foot wrong and stepped into the light.
Quite coincidentally, three people named Sylvia Dowden and an unfortunately named “Fukwit Moron” are also backing the campaign.
It’s good to know the felt-hatted, swivel-eyed loons are keepinjg themselves busy this summer.
