MP Barry Gardiner today took delivery of a stationery order. While it’s nice to know that someone’s receiving their post, Barry informs me that the order was incorrect and included a number of items destined for the office of a parliamentary colleague.
It is therefore pleasing to know that shadow Chancellor George Osborne has at long last seen fit to purchase a BUSICOM BS-122HMS desktop computer calculator. After miscalculating by £2bn the amount of revenue taxable from “non-doms”, this should come in handy.
