Judging by some of the police officers around here, the exhaust ought be on the other side.

Hampshire Police are clearly doing a good job. Emissions are down, and they’ve nearly caught the “Flashing Bobby”.

Looks painful. Is that part of the initiation process in the Hampshire police?

I think the boys and girls in blue should investigate how your post ended up here:

Do you think there might be a tea-leaf in the blogosphere?

I’m an artworker, I do this sort of stuff in my job almost daily. The artworker/s who did this would have know EXACTLY where the exhaust pipe was coming out as you get supplied with a template of the bus sides and rear with all non-printable areas showing. He He, someone has a sense of humour and is laughing their asses off in an agency somewhere - probably get a disciplinary but I’d take one too, it’d be well worth it.

Red Tamarin, you had the good grace to own up to plagiarising this post from an e-mail over at Dale’s blog. I’ve written something up at:
http://lobsterblogster.blogspot.com/2007/10/evenin-all.html
so I’m quite happy for you to exercise your right to reply. (I’ve commented something v. similar on Dale’s blog, but I doubt it will ever get through moderation.)

I think the problem both Red Tamarin and Ian Dale has is that neither of them quotes their source. Something like “Hat Tip: Received from an anonymous emailer” would suffice.

Click for bigness? I thought the idea was to rub.

I can see your point LB + GR, and I’d admit I’m lazy on the etiquette front. The idea of hat-tipping ‘anon’ all the time would get a bit boring both to write and to read though. I’ll give it a bit of thought.
