Osborne declares state schools unfit for purpose

george-osborne.jpg

According to the Evening Standard, Shadow Chancellor George Osborne has decided to send his children, aged 4 and 6 years, to a private school, having deemed the state schools in Westminster and in his constituency of Tatton unfit for the offspring of a country baronet.

George Osborne’s children are not believed to be on his parliamentary payroll and their private school fees consequently are not paid from his parliamentary expenses as “staff training” fees.
