Tory shame over slavery fantasy

tory twats

Scottish Conservative Future leading lights Jamie Johnston and David Harris are in hot water after being phtotgraphed “role-playing” a slavery fantasy for laughs. While a Tory spokesman refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing, saying, “Students dress up for a fancy dress party - it’s hardly the shock of the century”, Harris was quick to deny his role. He said, “It was actually one of Mr Johnston’s ideas.”.

Despite the insistence of innocence, Johnston has resigned as secretary of Glasgow University Conservative Association and Harris has resigned as Chairman of CFUK Scotland. It is believe both young men are well acquainted with Tory Leader David Cameron and the Scottish Tory Leader, Annabel Goldfinger.

  1. Slight error. David Harris is not chairman of CFUK, he is secretary to Conservative Future Scotland.

  2. I know the esteemed Mr Harris. He hails from the Isle of Lewis and is more or less the only Tory there. His previous includes alienating the whole island with public rants against local people and general Tory snobbery. The fact that this average Tory is displaying average Tory behaviour and has been caught is greatly pleasing!

  3. David is a really funny and great guy, those who get off on laughing at other people’s expense deserve nothing but misery. He’s actually getting more press over some silly costume than prince Harry did when he dressed as a Nazi! Its just a costume and it doesnt imply he is racist- which couldnt be far from the truth. The press just needs a story to manipulate and those who jump on it really should have more important things to worry about??

  4. David is a great and funny guy- the news obviously has no real stories to report on and has to manipulate some rubbish to make someone out to be a racist!

  5. While I am not suggesting you are incorrect, you have to admit that is a picture of him pretending to beat a black slave for fun. The manipulation isn’t tortuous (on this occasion)

  6. This is one of the most disgraceful pieces of journalism (along wih the total disgustig articles written in the daily record) Since when has front page news been that 20year old students dress up inappropriately for a halloween party? This was for a private party, months ago, and any costume that david or jamie dressed up in had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with their politcal beleifs as this party that they attended was not remotely attached to the tory party. The offence has only been caused because these pictures hav been printed, not because of the costumes themselves. It makes me so angry that journalists are trying to ruin to young mens carreers before they have even begun, and neither of these guys deserves the problems you have given them at such a young age.

  7. David Supporter…….. Get a grip, all those in his home island are not in the least bit amused by his snobbery and constant attacks on our way of life. Tory scumbag- end off!
    PS David…is that you?

  8. So the Tories make a bad taste joke for a laugh but Labour go around falsely accusing LibDEms of being peadophiles in order to get elected.

I know which of these is worse, do you?

  9. Well ‘Equally Disgusted’, should David really honestly care what a few class mates in his home island think about him? Perhaps you may be jelous that he is doing so well? He has alot of friends and is very successful and popular in Glasgow. So maybe you should waste less time trying to put other people down and make them feel bad because you yourself werent successful?
And no this is not David- David hasnt had to lift a finger as the support for him has been immense. So try living your own life and worry less about doing your best to hurt others maybe you will be happier yourself pet?

  10. I think the papers intentionally chose to leave out the part that it was not just a plain Halloween party, it was actually a Bad Taste party.
So is it not the whole point to dress in bad taste to a bad taste party? Why not print the pictures of everyone else who was there too and drag their names through the mud?

  11. I come from the same island as David and have never felt offended by anything he may supposedly have said about the island. Besides, what David has said about the island has nothing to do with this story, and the sad islanders leaving comments about being ‘greatly pleased’ about David having his ‘comeupance’ are pathetic.

This is a ridiculous story: will the Record (the rag that it is) start publishing as front page news every single Facebook picture they can get their hands on of a drunken student dressed up as some controversial figure, say Hitler? Oh wait, that’s already been done by thousands of people - looks like the Record has its work cut out.
Okay, it may be fair to say that David and Jamie were targeted because of their involvement with the Conservative Future. But this ‘Bad Taste’ party (as Propaganda has pointed out the Record chose to omit this fact) had nothing to do with their political alliances - it was simply a few students having a laugh and not intending to cause any harm. In fact they did not cause any harm by dressing up - what caused the harm was the Record splashing this across their headlines and making a mountain out of a molehill. It’s pathetic that two young men have had their prospective careers ruined by a story that shouldn’t even have been published, let alone front page news. And these people who take pleasure in David’s life being affected by this should find a life of their own. You are pathetic.
