Conservativehome is highlighting the tale of Tory MEP Sir Robert Atkins, who has “done a Conway” by hiring a wife and son on his European Parliamentary expenses. Worryingly, his wife also has time to hold two council seats and a number of “charitable” positions, calling into question how much time she actually spends earning £30,000 in her day-job.

I’ve met Dulcie Atkins, the wife mentioned here, she swans about this town thinking she owns the place; any chance for a photo op, she’s there.
