David vs David

Amusing story in the Hull Daily Mail.

David Davis has gone head to head with lizard-fearing David Icke. Evidently, Icke tried to attend a David Davis event where he expounded his passionate defence of free speech and the rights of the individual on Saturday.

Sadly, Icke was barred from the event.

So that’s freedom of speech for some then.

19-20% is the lowest turnout in a by-election ever - in 1999’s Leeds Central contest that returned Hilary Benn.

1. Will H&H’s normal 70% election turnout be whittled away to a record breaking low?
2. Will the Greens come a strong second and even beat the man whose ego knows no limits?
3. Can I go and campaign for the Greens without getting kicked out of the Labour Party?
4. Will the aggregated nutter vote add up to more than Davis’ support? (or is his support the nutter vote?)

  1. “3. Can I go and campaign for the Greens without getting kicked out of the Labour Party?”

Yes. It’s people running against Labour candidates you’re not supposed to help.

  2. Icke knows the truth about the tories. LOL.

  3. Seems he did ok after all….

  4. No on all accounts.

    Oh well, keep trying.
