Tough on Fat, Tough on the causes of Fat

  1. Hmmm… the tories aren’t really pulling of this compassionate paternalism are they.
So far all they have done is protect the interests of rich, married couples. It rather sounds as if the tory strategy is to baton down the hatches for the wealthy and throw everyone else to the wolves.
Atleast Thatcher offered people the chance to own their own houses which it could be argued led to the credit problems we are experiencing now, but compared to Dave the toker Cameron, Thatcher was virtually a communist.
The tory front bench is like millionaires row and these people couldn’t give a damn about those on low incomes.
It is a shame that Gordon Brown is more interested in saving his own neck than helping those that work hard but receive little in return.
Until Brown is deposed (which will have to be by Christmas if any progress is to be made) the Labour Party will keep blundering on with Brown’s self defeating policies.
Considering the tories have so few policies, Brown is wasting a very valuable opportunity to go on the counter attack.
I think Johnson would be the best person to replace him.
    Don’t you?

  2. Well the Labour party would certainly know all about bullying people, being the most oppressive government of modern peacetime, and the political equivalent of the playground bully.

Most assuredly a case of the pot calling the kettle black on this one.

Oh and no I don’t agree with three chins Lansley either.

  3. Maybe thay’ll get Nick Somes to front this!

  4. I know Mr Angry and he is very very Fat.
