Palace cracks down on MP blogs

MPs Paul Flynn and Derek Wyatt have incurred the wrath of the Palace of Westminster authorities by…

…being political on their websites.

Shouldn’t someone mention to them that this is called POLITICS and is normally conducted by POLITICIANS.

  1. Hi Monkey, you seem to be arguing for state funded politics? Seems a shame now that so much time was spent hounding poor old Mrs Dorries (not :0) )

  2. Eh? How so?

  3. Would you have written the same story if neither of them had been Labour MPs. I think not.

  4. I actually didn’t have anything to do the Liberal Conspiracy campaign on Nadine’s website. In fact, I have just checked my email and I advised Sunny not to bother.

All my hounding of Ms Dorries can be characterised as slapdash and having taken very little time at all

  5. Well he did bother, and the outcome was that Dorries’ wrist was slapped. It shouldn’t be a great surprise that Flynn and Wyatt suffer the same fate.

  6. The Flynn story is 18 months old and he’s funded his own blog since then. So they haven’t suffered the same fate at all and Nads should have been aware of the rulings anyway. But don’t let that get in the way of your fulimnating…

  7. Complaints about the slow delivery of news by the BBC are best taken up with them direct. Never tried fulimnating, is this something dyslexic spin doctors indulge in?

  8. David Cameron once said ‘conviction without policy is like a car without wheels.’ Sadly the wheels seem to be coming off, and in the absence of sustained attack Gordon Brown is in serious danger of beginning to enjoy himself.
