While Westminster recoils at the earth-shattering possibility of Andrew George (who?) resigning from the Lib Dem front bench, Tony Blair has been sweating away on his own reshuffle, which is likely to take place next week. The PM still has a John Hutton sized hole to fill as the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, a job that involves “focusing on better regulation and the continuing public service reform agenda” as well as other important jobs such as biscuit procurement for No.10.
Thankfully you can pretend to be the Prime Minister himself in this nifty new game, which allows you to back or sack the current Cabinet without the worries of a wobbly from Gordon Brown.

Rumours are that the Lib Dems are working on a version, assuming that there will be any members of their shadow cabinet left by tea time.
The Tories’ wheeze this week is the abandonment of Capitalism (in favour of socialism one presumes?) and a new found love of the NHS and big government. A Tory insider told Recess Monkey, “It’s just mood music. He’s still the uber-capitalist he was before. The right is so desperate to win now that they will vote Tory under any circumstances so Cameron just has to fool a few disaffected centrists into voting Tory or staying at home and he wins the next election”.

Government flunkies were sent into a brief tiswas this week after rumours emerged that Cameron had approached Tim Henman to be a Tory candidate at the next general election. Have they presumed he will have retired from tennis by that time? Roll on Tiger Tiger Tim!

Not to be one to slam a rival public affairs company, but you’d think they might have included John Hutton in there somewhere, what with him being in the current cabinet and all.
Bloody amateurs.

Oh no, my mistake - he’s there. You’ve just got to maximise the page.
Obviously.
